Unit type is the biggest lever.
A standard porta potty is the baseline — it's the workhorse of construction sites and small events. A deluxe unit adds a foot-pump sink, mirror, and vent stack. A flushable adds a fresh-water reservoir. An ADA unit is roughly 1.5x a standard.
A luxury restroom trailer is in a different category entirely: it's an HVAC-cooled, plumbed, powered installation with porcelain fixtures. Expect a 2-stall trailer to run 8–10x a standard porta potty on a weekend event.
Service frequency scales with the crew.
Weekly service is standard and included on most construction rentals. Twice-weekly service (recommended for crews over 25 in Phoenix summer) adds about 60% to the base rate.

Delivery distance matters, but less than you'd think.
